Interview with Recruitment Coordinator and Area Manager & Trial shift. Attended a trial shift. Had a brief chat with the GM who was late and was told to help make the burger patties, clean & scrubbed the tables and floors. I then moved to the fries section with some joker. He spent 20 MINS with me, then spent most of the time fooling around & then disappeared and left me to it. NOT ONE manager came to check on me. Later on a really rude female manager looked at the fries pulled her face and told me to get off the section. She had no idea, I was on trial shift. When I told her, after a few minutes, she pointed at the door and said "You shift is over"..... So spending an hour making patties, an hour scrubbing the floors and 3 hours making fries really constitutes as a trial shift? I was not offered a position because "I fell short my leadership and engagement skills" How was feedback given to the recruitment manager from the managers when half of them didn't even know I was on trial shift, and the other two working the kitchen didn't even engage me?? Beyond a joke...
