Entretien
The hiring manager reached out to me (as an internal candidate) to apply for the position. I had shadowed with the team for two days. Was told that I would be a great fit for the job even though I had no experience with bankruptcies specifically. Since I already worked for the company, I knew the systems and had a good idea how everything worked. I got along with the team and they seemed to all be on board with me joining. Manager pulled me aside at the end of day two and said they would like me to apply for the job. I applied for the job and they called me in for the interview. At the end of the interview they told me that they would not be hiring me for position as I did not have any bankruptcy experience. It was really frustrating since it was the manager that requested I applied and told me I would be a great addition to the team. This did happen several years ago. I will always remember the experience because it taught me to be very careful when looking at internal positions.
