The recruiter was really nice, but no one else there had a clue how to interview. They were snooty and asked pointless questions. No one seemed to understand the role I was interviewing for. A generalist is advanced at many things, rather than finely tuned in a certain area. I realized afterward that the job I applied for had been listed for over a year. No wonder, you shouldn't have devs interviewing if they don't know how to interview. Waste of time. At least I got a free meal out of it. I still remember that rare steak.
