The phone interview was standard. I was asked about my research background and work experience. Also, I was asked about the career plan and interest in the position. There were two interviewers on the phone call. The interviewers were friendly, and they also briefly introduced their work and company's work to me.

Start with an HR screen, then have 5-6 back-to-back interviews with partners and attorneys with similar backgrounds, all virtual. Each session is around 30 minutes. Questions were more focused on getting to know you, your background and your motivation for wanting to work in patent law.
