Got an offer after 3 conversations. The decision making around my hiring was suspect. After making the offer, the HR ghosted for more a couple of weeks during token negotiation. Communication was far from adequate and lacked credulity. Management demonstrated that they did not know what they were doing. For a company trying to build a decentralized economy, it seemed to be micromanaged from the top. HR made a big mistake while sending out my offer letter by revealing some other employee’s confidential personal information. The company has a suspect past – which raised a red flag – but the sequence of other red flags made me decide that it is not worth living under the stress of not knowing what the future holds.
