The hiring process Consisted of two phases in my case: the first one was a typical HR talk,
the second one was an interview with 4 engineers working at Ferrari. It was not technical, but instead mostly general questions regarding my experience and possible interests in the company roles.
At the end of the interview the HR told me that an interview at Maranello would have been the next step. After that there were not any kind of contact. The hiring process just stopped.
After two months of silence I contacted the HR and I was told that the cause of the delay was the race organization. One month later I contacted the HR again and this time the answer was clearly annoyed.
I believe that a company like Ferrari should have at least the kindness to let the applicants know if they should wait for a possible role or not. Maybe, for such a company a single person job it is not important, but for that person it is.
