First there was a phone call, then they invited me to go meet them. It was an informal chat and when they saw that I had on my resume that I spoke Spanish, the interviewer (a 50-something blonde woman) started speaking to me in Spanish. It was unexpected but I handled it well. The rest of the interview continued in Spanish.

The interview process was not very organized. I had an issue with miscommunication regarding the timing of the interview, and there was some confusion about the job expectations. While the interview itself was fairly standard, the lack of clarity beforehand made it difficult to prepare properly.

I was guided to the back conference room and was asked to fill out a packet that assessed basic math and reading comprehension skills, as well as scenario questions that assessed my secretarial skills. Once I finished the packet, I waited for over half an hour before I went to the front to ask the individual that helped me, "How long do you think it'll be before Mr. [boss's name] arrives." Apparently, he's been ready for me while I was waiting and nobody really bothered to go back there to retrieve me. The staff was busy so I didn't want to go up there to ask them when they would be ready for me, but waiting over half an hour kind of forced my hand. The interview process was basic. The boss told me more about the company and what I can expect from the position and asked me questions.
