I write this review not as a current or former employee, but to inform everyone about my amazing experience with Fanatics. I applied, interviewed and received a job offer from Fanatics for a position in Jacksonville, FL. Unfortunately due to timing, I was unable to accept the position. My wife and I had our first child and brought her home the day I received the offer, making relocation from PA to FL extremely difficult at this time, but this is where my experience was amazing. Relocating is never easy, but through this whole process I spoke with both Baines and Wendy and they made me feel at ease. I did accept the position only to eventually have to retract my decision based on the move in our current state with having a newborn, among of a few other issues, but both Baines and Wendy were extremely receptive. Baines kept in touch with me through the entire process by either phone or email, sometimes daily, which kept me excited even though I had a lot on my plate. He was easy to talk to and I can honestly say, I feel like I have known him my whole life. When I had a few questions and Baines wasn’t available, Wendy stepped in. This team didn’t miss a beat. They genuinely cared about me, my situation and did everything to help me out. Being a new mom as well, Wendy provided us with information on daycare and even went as far as providing school districts in area for my wife to apply to since she is a teacher. Baines put me in touch with an amazing realtor and gave me some of the top areas to look at homes/rentals that were safe and met our needs as a young family. There was nothing more I wanted than to make this work for my family and be able to assist the company in all their success, but the timing was just not right. After speaking with Wendy one last time, she really made me feel like working with this company in the future is something that can still happen so I am still excited. If this whole process teaches you anything, the level of care provided by both Baines and Wendy, their general interest in me, my situation, things beyond the scope of the position, this company will exceed expectations. All other companies should take notes on this. These are the types of people you want working for you, the ones that go above and beyond the scope of their jobs. Did I mention we often spoke on nights and weekends, outside of their normal job hours? My big takeaway is, this is a company I hope to work for one day and I hope everyone gets this level of attention during their recruitment.
