Applied for the job online. Got asked for an interview over email. The interview was conducted by the Renewable Energy coordinator and another non-technical staff. The focus was on my interests in renewable energy, and projects I had worked on in University. There weren't any technical questions, rather about my roles within groups and past employment. I was working on a project outside of school on designing a net-zero cottage (water and energy use) and I was asked about why I chose to undertake the project, what I had considered in the design, and what my future steps would be. Though the interview had classic questions like "tell me about yourself" and "why do you want to work here", major questions were about projects I had highlighted on my resume and cover letter.
