      Entretien

First I received a phone call from someone on the Talent Acquisition Team, they left a voicemail and sent me an email. I called back and replied to the email. I followed up the next day and finally heard back on the third day. They wanted to set an appointment for a longer phone screening. They then called back at the scheduled time and spoke for 30 minutes asking such questions as what are my values and what interests me the most about the company. Afterwards they said they would be in contact. They called back in a couple days and wanted to set up a phone interview with the Chief Information Security Officer, so we set an appointment. They called at the scheduled time and we spoke for 30 minutes, again more questions about values and experiences. After the phone call I was told they would contact me. A few days later they called back and wanted to set up an onsite interview. A date and time was set and it was stated that it is imperative I research and learn everything I can about the company and who I would be meeting with. I also had to take a personality test, DISC profile, and fill out a job application to bring with me. I arrived for the onsite interview and found out that I would be interviewing with four people all separately for 30 minutes each. The IT Director was the only person to ask actual job related questions, the other three asked the same questions repeatedly about who I am and what I like to do, and none of them "quizzed" me on what I knew about them or the company. I heard back a couple days later and was told they would like to move forward with the process and I would need to write a letter to the CEO telling him essentially why he should hire me. At this time I also received the results from my personality test and was told I needed to read the results and respond with commentary as well as defend some of the results that were given. After writing the letter and sending it in I heard back a couple days later that they wanted to set up a meeting with the CEO. We set an appointment and then I was contacted the morning of to be informed that we would need to move up the appointment because that time was no longer available. I arrived onsite and interviewed with the CEO one on one. He looked over my resume and spent the next 30 minutes asking me the same questions everyone else had asked so far, who I am and what I like to do. After meeting with the CEO I received an email a few days later informing me that my qualifications were not satisfactory for this position. Something other companies would have known up front took them four weeks.
