The interview process was so long and drawn out. At every stage, I received positive feedback and kept moving forward, which gave me hope that I was a strong fit for the role. After seven interviews — yes, seven — and being told it was still part of the first round, I received an email saying they decided to move forward with another candidate. It was honestly disheartening. After investing that much time and energy, it’s hard not to feel frustrated and a little let down.
