Three person panel interview with standard government pre-scripted questions conducted via webcam. Basic questions about conflict resolution and how a person would handle common sense scenarios. The recruiter had "I could care less," attitude during initial contact and the subsequent interview a couple of weeks later contained a panel who seemed disconnected and distracted by their daily work. While I would like to be a harsh critic of the panel, I could not help but feel empathy as it seemed they were stressed and overworked, which was subtle signal to me as an applicant that the low morale at this agency may not be the best indicator for a career choice. In regard to OPM, I have no idea why it has an "automated" system to notify applicants of their progress as none of the recruiters ever update it. It seems odd the federal government constantly complains that they struggle competing against private companies for qualified applicants when they have what seems an almost intentionally designed self-defeating hiring processes in place.

Standard government questions. Have several stories that can be tailored to different "tell me about a time" questions. Have good clarifying questions to show you are familiar with the role. Interview process overall was smooth.
