I applied on LinkedIn, got a missed call and called back multiple times to the recruiter. The recruiter never called me back and emailed me about 2 weeks later asking if I was still interested and he was going to withdraw my application. I told him I was interested and was waiting for him to get back to me. He then sent me some assessments to take prior to the phone interview. I took the assessments and selected a phone interview time. I waited for the phone interview and he NEVER called or apologized for missing the call. He calls me the following week after business hours and asks if I am still interested. He claims their system is messing up and apologizes on not calling. Two minutes into the conversation, the call gets cut. I wait for a call back and don't receive one. I get an email 10 minutes later saying he tried one last time to contact me and couldn't and is going to withdraw my application.
I have never been through an application process with a company so unprofessional and disorganized. Everything negative that happened was all on the company, because I did all the steps necessary and even tried to contact the recruiter to no success. I would not recommend working for this company. If their recruitment process is this disorganized, I can't even imagine how disorganized working there would be.
