I was interviewed by two different managers, each independently. They asked me about my education and past experience. They asked me general hardware questions, and showed me schematics and asked me what I thought they did. I answered everything very well, and I felt strong about the interview. As I was leaving, I was told that I would hear from them in 3 weeks. Well, 45 days goes by with no word from Extron. I contact the recruiter, and she sets up a second interview. We schedule it for the next week. Three days before the interview, the recruiter leaves me a brief message and says that she needs to cancel my interview because the position has been filled. She said that I could contact her if I had any questions, but now she won't return my messages. This is the most unprofessional experience I've ever had. This wasn't an interview, it was a first come - first serve bread line.
