The first was initial screening and then there was a phone call with the recruiter. After the phone call, there was a video interview with the hiring manager. Then, at-home exercise to test skills.

Do you notice any idiosyncrasies with the data? Calculate the attach rate - overall and by merchant. What are your recommendations?
I met with a senior data scientist in the first round who seemed extremely uninterested to talk to me. I was not asked any technical questions during the call but rather trivial questions. I was told an online assignment would follow through but all I received was a rejection a few days later without any explanation or feedback. I feel like the first call was a waste of time.
