Initial screening call with HR then scheduled an interview with the manager of the specific marketing team for this role. Unfortunately the manager made inappropriate comments when I mentioned I'm a caregiver. I was stunned and after that call I knew I did not want to work for an organisation that allows that kind of ableism and discrimination so I let the Initial HR contact know what happened and withdrew myself as a candidate. HR went through the tick box exercise of investigating only to do nothing so I do not recommend considering this company if you are a parent, or caregiver for a disabled relative etc.
