Had an initial telephone screening with the HR and a week later the VP of Engineering called for a 30 minute phone interview. Which was basically about my previous experience. After a week later, I was called in for an in person interview which happened in a couple of phases. The first hour was with a Senior Architect and a Team Lead. They got more into the technical details of my past projects and asked a few behavioural questions. Ended with a white boarding coding problem. Then another 45 minutes with the VP of Engineering and HR Manager. This phase was completely about personality assessment. All the interviewers were very decent and respectful. I have personally enjoyed the entire process. The HR manager even gave me a hint at the end saying, they really liked me and asked me to let them know if I get any other offers, so that they can speed up their process. It was after a week or so after a couple of follow up emails, the HR person told me that he got a positive feedback about my interview but the new VP of technologies has re-evaluated all the positions and the role I interviewed for was nullified. This has left a bad taste in my mouth. I'd never interview with this company again. Looks like they have really nice employees but a bad leadership team and company policies.

The process was pretty average and I reached what I was told to be the final round. I studied with the expectation of coding and generic technical questions but was asked none, which perhaps was indicative of my failure to meet expectations with the initial line of questioning.
The entire interview consisted of my resume being put under a microscope and I was admittedly under-prepared. I would encourage future candidates to reacquaint themselves with the technologies and work from the past. And if you do not recall the work very well, it is better to admit that due to the passage of time one might not be currently equipped to answer certain questions, than to fumble with your answer as if to imply that a bullet point might be disingenuous. You will be asked to express pros and cons regarding your technical approach to projects and technologies you have used.
Overall, I received the impression that they are currently looking for candidates who require minimal guidance and are strong communicators. For those like me who are not strong speakers, practice how you articulate your answers, pretend to be confident, and good luck!
