One of the worst experiences I’ve had was a hiring process that took three months, from the initial email to the interview, and then ultimately being ghosted. I received the screening email in April, got the interview email in May, and after a whole month, the interview finally happened. During the interview, they followed the STAR method, but when it was my turn to ask questions, one of the interviewers left. The worst part was that they told me they would reach out after a month. What kind of interview process takes a month just to make a decision? They never reached out, and I had to email HR myself after a month to get the results.
