My interview process started with an open house in early November. It was truly a unique experience and a great opportunity to meet the employees and executives. After about a week or so, I was informed there was a delay and decisions were taking a little bit longer than expected. About a week or so after that, I got an email to set up an interview.
Initially I was interested in a sales position and half way through the process the account manager position seemed to be a better fit. My first interview was with two executives who oversee the sales department. I thoroughly enjoyed my interview and it's very clear this company takes the time to find the right people. They seem to value quality of people over quantity of experience.
After this interview (within a couple hours) we set up my next interview. I met with about 5 people including HR, sales and account management team members. I learned more about both positions and the "tell us about a time when..." questions started. PREP FOR YOUR INTERVIEWS and be ready to share why you're interested in the company and what value you can add culturally and professionally.
Within a week we set up another interview to meet with more individuals from the account management team. This was the hardest interview. There were various questions about my experience, skills, what I'm looking for in a company and why Exclusive Resorts?
My final interview was a zoom call with two Regional Managers and was much more casual. Later that day I was called in via conference call and the team extended me an offer. They each shared something positive that stood out to them during my interviews. It was so incredibly unique and you can tell this company is very intentional about who they hire. They invested HOURS into my interviews.
