Initial phone call with recruiter was excellent, but the indicated salary was tremendously below market. After declining moving forward in the process due to that, Apex magically came up with $15 an hour more to offer. Moving forward was an atrocity. Their communication lacks respect for peoples time. Several cold calls without notice, was involuntarily signed up for an email list and documents such as vaccinations records requested (again. during the initial stages of an interview process), recruiter “forgot” to let his account manager know I had contacted him regarding her phone call at 3pm on a Friday asking me to call her back by end of day (I had no idea who this person was calling me, who does that?? I can’t just drop my entire Friday afternoon to call you? And now I’m going to worry about it all weekend?)… I was called AGAIN without notice, left a voicemail, texted, and emailed seventeen minutes before my interview with Microsoft which caused serious anxiety. Why was I being spam contacted?? I had just gotten home and was showering/making coffee before my interview and saw all the messages and figured something was wrong…spoiler alert, it was for no reason other than to “make sure I was ready.” There’s so much more but honestly, worst experience with an agency ever…and that’s saying something.
