J'ai postulé via une agence de recrutement. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Euromonitor (Londres, Angleterre) en avr. 2018
Entretien
Went through an agency that had sadly sent me to some other dubious interviews. I had an initial call with the Head of Recruitment which lasted about 1hr. Ran me through my work history and a simulated call. I went through to face to face , where I met 2 managers and believe that went well. Feedback came and it was positive, until my recruitment consultant said the roles had been pulled, due to the business looking at 'Graduate Intake'. However I had a gut feeling that something was amok.
2 weeks later what do I see, but the SAME roles posted on Euromonitor's Linked In job boards!
Basically, had my time wasted by the company and my supposedly 'dedicated' recruiter who flat lied to me when he said the roles were looking to Euromonitor's grads to fulfil the vacancies! Safe to say I didn't get placed by him as I went elsewhere to get more quantified and reputable roles!

Question 1
My first interviwer was eager and exited to have me. 40 minutes round of introductions. Classic!
Then this East European (I can tell of her strong slavish accent) old woman talks (she didn't say a word in 40 minutes) and asks me if I can give her names of active players in the target market. As I was giving names, she was taking notes! So I stopped. I told her: I will name you references when I am hired.
To my statisfaction, three names I gave her could have been gotten from ant local rookie. She couldn't use them to penetrate a market anyway. She got offended and that's how I figured what was the purpose of the interview; and why the Ad was on LinkedIn for more than three months unfilled. It's never going to be filled. It is a bate.
This is a single-man running the company despite the fact of identifying "international". It is micromanaged. I know this tactic of holding random interviews just to get free information/data. DOn't fall for it. Remember... this company SELLS information on markets.
They wanted to go over one hour of interviewing to squeeze more info/data from me but I stopped the interview. I got a sorry letter email the same day! it confirms my doubts
