I applied for an administrative position in 2023. I received an initial HR screening, a typing test, and an interview with another individual, but was ultimately rejected. Fast forward two years and I apply for a different administrative position at the same office. I received an HR screening and was immediately rejected. During the screening I was asked if I had any questions. When I asked regarding the position assisting individuals from an office states away, I was told that was incorrect and an implication was made that I wasn't paying attention. I later reviewed the job posting and sure enough, there it was. They likely reused an ad from a different office and didn't bother to fully vet it. The kicker was I received a rejection at 8 p.m. on a Saturday night--what a way to end the week.

This process took nearly 3 months. I went through 5 interviews, including one with the VP. A month after wrapping up the last interview, I still hadn’t heard back. I was breadcrumbed though and told by the recruiter that the hiring team was out on vacation, they were still deciding, etc.. finally got a call today saying they decided to not move forward in the interviewing process.
This was the most degrading hiring experience I’ve ever been through and I realized a couple weeks ago I wanted nothing to do with a company that treats potential employees like this. Absolutely horrible process and speaks volumes to how disorganized the company is.
This job pays like $52,000 a year… it’s not worth it in the slightest. I’m not sure they’re even hiring to be honest.

I'd submitted my resume online directly to the company. I was contacted the next day via email to set up an initial phone interview. Scheduling was quick. The call was with someone in HR who speedily read through a script of questions while typing furiously in the background (to the point it was distracting) as I answered each question. There was no input or further probing into each topic, no conversation from the interviewer... just a lot "uh huhs" and "oks" and furious typing. At the end of the interview, she asked if I would like to be scheduled for an assessment test at their facility and I declined because the interview has been so off putting. The interview style gave me the impression that this company treats employees like cattle.
