Very thorough process. Clear expectations were set and there were no surprises. The process started with the traditional role review and corporate walk-through by internal recruiter. Followed up with a phone interviews then met with the team in CA would rate the experience top-notch.

It was almost a year ago. First being screened by Talent Acquision after a few months after submitting the application. Then by the hiring Sr. Director who doesn't know the subject so a very high level conversation. Then panel interviewed by his peer and his VP. Again, can tell that they lack of vision and not clear what type of person that they are looking for. Very generic questions, nothing deep.

Typical uninspiring experience. Interviewer shows up 7 mins late to a 30 min interview and then somehow feels knows you enough in those 23 remaining minutes to decide whether you are fit for the role. And then the recruiter ghosts you without any feedback. Absolutely terrible experience. Will not apply again to this company. These kind of companies don’t realize that interviewee is also evaluating them and we also have many options.

Equinix, you have some real issues with your recruitment process. I applied and then was bombarded with emails (a number of weeks later) to submit my preference for interview. Since I had already found another role by this point, I responded and declined. These emails kept coming. I responded at least 2 more times to be removed from the recruiting process. The emails still kept coming. Almost 3 months after initial application and attempts to stop these requests for interview. I get an email thanking me for my participation and informing me that another candidate was chosen. It's annoying more than anything, but clearly no one is paying attention and/or ignoring communications. Equinix you need to fix your system. Getting it this wrong before anyone even steps foot in the door doesn't inspire confidence.
