The hiring process took about 4 months. I applied in late June/early July and got contacted with the usual phone interview from HR (no prior notice). I moved on to the next phone interview, that occurred some time by the end of July or early August, with one of the department's supervisor and his most experienced and fully trusted subordinate. After the second phone interview, I had an in-person interview around the end of August or early September. During this interview, I met with multiple people and it took about 2 hours in total. After something like 65 signatures and approvals, I received a non-negotiable offer in October. I started working for them in November
