I applied through recruiting agency, then was contacted by the company for interview. The interview process was smooth and fast, went through 3 rounds of interviews withing 2 weeks max.

Screening interview followed by an interview with hiring manager, followed by an interview with 'southeast sales director', followed by a technical interview from another director. All of this to be emailed they are moving forward with another candidate. They promised a car and competitive salary but gave a false sense of security during the interview process that the job was mine to lose.
