Four rounds of MS Teams interviews, an impromptu writing assignment, and a reference check at the final stage. The interview conversations were engaging and I was told that I was one of two final candidates. However, the process felt inconsistent, early stages moved quickly, followed by gaps in communication and missed timeline updates toward the end. References were requested prior to a final decision, which can be a significant ask at a senior level. Overall not a positive candidate experience.
