I applied online at usajobs.gov. A few weeks later I received a pre-interview phone call and then follow-up call with an invitation to interview in person. The interview took place on site. I met with a small group of interviewers and the department head. I was given a chance to ask my own questions. I wanted to know about current research and the role of a statistician in this group. I was also asked to prepare a talk of 20-30 minutes.
