I met with a recruiter for a 30-minute introductory call. I had already spoken to people at the firm, including the CEO, so this was the first step in the formal interview process. The call went well, and I was told I would hear back in a week about the next steps. I was then essentially ghosted - communication with the recruiter ceased. I saw the CEO a few weeks after and he asked how the interview process was coming along... ??
