HR failed to recognise that I was too senior for the role (this became apparent in the interview). The process of organising the interview was very haphazard and last minute. The interviewer (hiring manager) was unprofessional and belittling. He asked me for details of something I was working on with my current employer which I'd made clear was confidential (ie I could discuss the process/my involvement but not the detail of the outcome) and was rude and belittling when I was unable to answer a question that he shouldn't have asked. HR then ghosted me with no feedback or follow up post-interview.
