      The interview Process was an absolute sh*t show, even my recruiter was surprised at how badly it was carried out and shared my frustrations. The process was unnecessarily long for an entry level role, you wouldn't even expect this at a very senior level. I was asked to answer 5 interview style questions when submitting my CV to apply for the role. I was then invited to a 30 minute interview with the office manager which was very positive. After that I was asked to complete 3 timed online assessments, as well as submitting my answers to 2 scenario type questions. After this I was told that someone else scored better on the online assessments than me and so the interview process wouldn't go any further - fair enough. 2 weeks later they reached out to me inviting me to join back into the recruitment process. They asked me to redo the online assessments, which followed up with a 30 minute video interview with the CEO. I found this experience very negative as he fired questions interrogating my intelligence and education, and left no room to speak about the role itself or for me to ask questions. He asked me silly questions such as asking me how I would grade my intelligence and what I got at GCSE's, which I find very irrelevant as I sat those exams over 10 years ago, and that is something that could've been screened when I first even applied for the job. He completely dismissed my qualifications, experiences and achievements and it was as though he was trying to find something wrong. I can tell that he loves interrogating, perhaps he should explore a role in that and allow other members of staff to do the interview process. (which I've seen others post about this and yet he still interviews, so it's great to see that he takes on feedback so well). After this interview, which he admitted he was very impressed by me, he invited me to another interview with him in the office. I understood the importance of meeting face to face and seeing the office, yet this final interview was so unproductive as he asked me the exact same questions for over 30 minutes, and again left no time for me to ask questions (he left early as he had a meeting to get to and left me with another manager). This interview left me with a very negative view on the company as I can see how the CEO's behaviour negatively influences the company culture which is such a shame because it could be great company to work at. However I left feeling very insulted having my intelligence so heavily questioned, and like he wasted my time carrying out a very inefficient recruitment process. After being offered the role I declined as I wouldn't be able to work for someone like that, and I'm not surprised that after over 6 months, they are still recruiting for that role. I just wish I could get my time back because that was a complete waste.
