I got a response to my application about 3 weeks after I applied. Set up a phone interview soon after. Easy phone interview with a polite man from the Press/Comms department. The questions were relatively easy but definitely tailored to the comms position - I wasn't asked any general questions you might usually expect. I bombed it though just because I prepared for more general questions and got very anxious in the interview. They did tell me though that regardless of the decision, they would follow up and let me know, which I appreciated. They did indeed follow up, and I was not offered the position.
