Long process it actually took about 6 weeks in my case. I interviewed 3 different times from the HR manager to HR group manager to the "Chairman".
The first interview I had with this firm was really good and informative, the HR manager I interviewed with had over 15 years of experience and I would say is the most professional person that I came across with at this firm (Margy i believe her name was).
The second interview was good but rather awkward. I was questioned by a less experienced Group HR manager with a more unique way of asking questions. Her questions were similar to that of a psycho-analyst and/or Police detective (a less effective version).
I would know because I was a Police officer for the City of New York for approx 3 years prior to moving to Dubai.
Nevertheless, the interview was average a lot of questions about my personality and hobbies for the most part.
Lastly, I met the "Chairman" and interviewed with him. He was delightful and smart! Had a clear vision of where he wanted his company to go, however, definitely gave off the impression that he was strapped for time. Also from the interview I can tell that he is very hands on in his business which could mean an array of things (maybe not comfortable with current staff/not trusting of team making decisions).
After the interviews I wrote thank you letters to the first manager because the other two employees didnt have any extra business cards.
The overall process was average, it is definitely noticeable that this company is new in the market and they have to work on different basic procedures in regards to interviewing potential candidates.
Such as previously mentioned: being on time for interviews, being prepared with questions, etc
