Entretien
I applied to the HRBP role and had a call with the recruiter within a few days of submitting my application. After the recruiter screen I was scheduled with the hiring manager about 1 week later. The hiring manager gave me the heads up that she would be on vacation the week following my interview and to expect a delay for any application updates. After my interview, I emailed the recruiter to ask for a more specific timeline of when I should expect to hear something. She told me she had a meeting with the hiring manager in 3 week due to vacations/travel. So I waited 3 weeks then emailed the recruiter again for an update. She then told me that the hiring manager still had more interviews and to "stay tuned". Its now been almost 2 more weeks since hearing from the recruiter and 4 weeks since my interview with the hiring manager. At this point I think its clear that the hiring manager just wasn't interested in me. While I understand she is looking for the best fit for the role, I don't think its ok to string me along when I have been proactive to reach out and ask for updates. I should have been notified weeks ago that I would not move forward in the process. I was really interested in this company and in the HRBP role so I am sad it didn't work out. But I don't think its ok to string people along and give them the run around.
