J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Emergent Software
Entretien
Miserable assessment test with dumb SAT-styled questions that have nothing to do with my resume. I played the game anyway (hey, I'm unemployed) and got an email a month later saying my resume was nice, but they decided to close the position without hiring anyone. What a lousy way to treat applicants.

Entretien
I had a frustrating and ultimately disappointing interview experience with Emergent Software.
A recruiter scheduled a first-round interview, then didn’t show up. After reaching out on LinkedIn, I found out the recruiter had left the company - without any communication or handoff. I had to follow up myself to get the interview rescheduled. While there was a brief apology via email, the situation wasn’t acknowledged at all during the rescheduled interview.
Despite that rocky start, the interview itself went very well and ended on a positive note. I was told to expect follow-up within a few days, but instead received a generic rejection email just two days later. The decision felt abrupt and disconnected from the tone of the conversation.
The company repeatedly promotes its Glassdoor ratings, but many of the reviews feel superficial. Based on my experience, something feels off - whether it’s internal disorganization or deeper issues in how candidates are evaluated.
This left me questioning whether decisions are being made fairly. Proceed with caution.
