First “interview” was very brief and lasted about 10 min. 2nd interview was inside a Costco during an “event”. They asked a couple of questions before you stand and watch them try to sell a product and they ask you to write down what marketing tactics you noticed them use. The job posting was extremely misleading and their business model is modeled after an MLM. The entry level position is essentially being trained to sell products for brands inside of various Costco locations, then you would be “promoted” to train others that are brought into the company as well as help with recruiting more people in effort to eventually be put into an “executive” role. I was in complete disbelief the second interview because the role was not at all what was advertised. The pay is also completely ridiculous, only offering minimum wage or performance based commission (whichever is higher at the end of the week). When I asked what the performance based commission looks like, she could not give me a straight answer. Save your time and move on with your job search because this position is not at all what is advertised!! They try to sell you a fantasy throughout the entire interview process, don’t fall for it.
