Interview for senior management role. 1st round was a call out of the blue from HR. Stated the hiring team liked my resumé and wanted to interview me. Interview was not overly revealing or challenging. Chased the HR contact directly for follow up, they did respond (gold star!) and said they would come back to me ‘shortly’. Guess what…still waiting for a decline or an update. This was for a fairly senior role, so not a tremendous advertisement for the org.

A colleague was leaving his position and recommended me to his manager, who invited me for an interview, where I was welcomed by the hiring manager and two EPMs. After the interview, the manager updated me on the selection process, until I receive the offer.
