I had applied months ago but received a text that they needed to fill the role urgently. After one 45 minute phone call that I thought went well I received an email saying I was not selected to move on to a second round of interviews. This is fine by me since I'd rather get knocked out early on than after multiple rounds of interviews. As far the talent pool in Savannah goes I would place myself in at least the top 10 percent and if anything I might be a bit too overqualified for this role. I wish them well though, and I hope they're able to find the right candidate for this role!

About two weeks after I applied for this role, an in-house talent acquisition specialist reached out to schedule a 30-minute phone call ASAP, which seemed weirdly urgent. The interview itself was fine, but I was ghosted afterward and the talent acquisition specialist has not been in contact despite repeated follow-ups, which says a lot about the company.
