I applied online. Got an email from a recruiter for a phone screen interview. I thought it went well. She said I said expect an email from the hiring manager but a week went by & didn't receive the email. I followed up with the recruiter by email and she did not respond to my email. I called her and left a voicemail a few days later just to follow up. I gave her the benefit of the doubt because she was so nice over the phone & even offered to assist me to get in touch with other recruiter if I found another position I liked. So i thought that maybe it went to her spam mail but she did not respond back either. She totally ghosted me. It's ok if they went with another candidate or changed their mind, but atleast be professional and communicate with the applicant!
