After filling out the application I was contacted via modern hire to fill out additional questions online. This was fairly easy, it contained questions about my license, salary and work hours. A few days later I was then contacted by a recruiter via email to schedule an interview with the hiring manager. A few days before my interview the interview was canceled off my outlook calendar and the next day I received one of those automated emails stating they were moving forward with another applicant. I was not upset they found another applicant but at the unprofessionalism. I think the recruiter should have sent me a personal email as we were talking back and forth initially to schedule the interview. To find out they were choosing another applicant before I even had a chance to interview by cancelling the meeting off my outlook calendar was so disrespectful. I would not apply for this position again. I think training on professionalism and etiquette is needed.
