I had a recruiter call, an in person interview with the SDR manager, a zoom call with the SDR manager at another location, and then a panel interview with a practice cold call. Throughout the interviews I felt fairly confident in my abilities and fit for the role. Then during the last five minutes of the panel interview one of the managers told me that they would not be able to hire me for the SDR role because they probably wouldn't have a position available. They made it clear they were interviewing plenty of other people as well. Instead they told me they might hire me for an BDR role for less pay. Going to be honest did not love the bait and switch. They then did not offer me either role. And then the next day they reposted the job listing. Be careful with interviewing with Egnyte they might just be wasting your time.
