J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Edward Jones (Detroit, MI) en mars 2023
Entretien
Applied online and was contacted via email one day later and invited to submit a recorded video "interview". Attempted to access the applet used for the recorded video interview and found that EJ's software wouldn't recognize existing camera or microphone on PC. Once I procured replacement hardware I submitted recorded an introduction and answers to four different questions that were both about general experience and generally about background for the specific position. The process felt artificial, as you have no-one to speak with directly. To cap it off, beyond an automated confirmation that the recording was received nothing more was received. Three weeks have gone by with zero communication from EJ about my application or "interview." While I appreciate there may be more qualified candidates and they may have chosen them, the lack of communication to that effect is poor. That added to the fact that they don't have the time to speak to you, even with a low level recruiter for the first "interview" gives the impression that you're not worth their time.

Question 1
Please share a professional accomplishment of which you are very proud.
The process took 4 months from beginning to end and required several times away from prior job. I met with 9 people throughout the process, some of them 2 at a time. I also had to do an online assessment and 4 hour role play assessment.
