Application, interview, another application, another interview, a business plan, a 3rd interview, an assessment, then an offer. It's a 60 day + process. I really couldn't be more upset with it. I got to the assessment, didn't get an offer.
From day one they'll tell you you're great, you could match every single box, every interviewer could love you, your resume solid, but it all rides on the silly little game at the end. The game is extremely vague and you do not get to explain why you did what you did to an EJ employee. Which makes it basically a crapshoot. You could be the most qualified candidate in the world but if your answers to the open-ended game don't follow their line of reasoning you lose. If no offer, you don't get an explanation why, just "try again next year".
I hope they change this because it's really not right to put someone through this. I don't know why they weigh the game so heavily that the 7-8 steps and 2 months of work before the game make no difference in the decision. Why even drag anyone through the first parts? Just send them through your simulator day one and move on.
