I applied online and was contacted for a phone interview. I was super excited about the company and the role and did a ton of research. But the phone interview was a nightmare. The interviewer was really cold and rude. She honestly seemed like she was bored, like I was giving the most boring answers in the world. It really threw me off my game. I know it sounds like I'm just complaining and trying to blame someone else for the fact that it went badly, but she was definitely disrespectful and a bad representation of the company.

I applied through LinkedIn and received a response within a few days. I had an initial phone screen with the recruiter that covered the basics---my background, my confidence writing to different audiences, interest in the mission, teamwork etc. I then had a hiring manager phone screen which was more difficult. Much more technical questions about different campaigns, content, ability to stay on a deadline. I didn't make it past that call
