First was a phone interview with an HR requistion specialist. She then had me take a behavorial assessment test on line. It was virtual. You would have employees come into your office in different settings with different issues. it would then ask how you would respond to their issue. It then took approx. 2 weeks to hear back from Ecolab. I was flown to their Corp. headquarters and had a round robin interview process. Interviewed with 6 different people of different levels al in same day and then flown home. You could tell they were very professional and looking for the PERFECT fit for the position. All the offices had their vision and mission statements posted. One of the Dept. heads took me to lunch in their in house cafeteria to get a feel for exactly how big the company actually was. I then did not hear from them for another 3 weeks. My future boss is the one that called me to offer me the position. Each division has their own HR dept. They are responsible for everyone in the entire division. Our division had over 1000 people with 3 people in HR. I am assuming that is why it took so long to contact back. I have had several HR delays, so dont give up if you dont hear back right away.
