Review:
It is a shame to see a company doing such high-quality work globally represented so poorly by their Bangalore recruitment team. Based on my experience, EarnIn’s hiring process in India is a masterclass in unprofessionalism and a complete lack of candidate respect.
The Experience:
I interviewed for the Staff Product Analyst role by the Senior Manager of Product Analytics. The technical discussion was solid, and the organization’s mission seems genuinely impactful. However, the aftermath was a disgrace. Post-interview, the recruiter and the interviewer went completely dark. Despite multiple formal follow-ups and polite LinkedIn reach-outs, I was met with total silence.
The Problem:
There is a fundamental lack of transparency and basic human decency in how this team operates. "Ghosting" a candidate after they’ve invested time with senior leadership isn't just a "process gap"—it’s a character flaw in the local talent acquisition team. They are "bad apples" who are single-handedly ruining the company’s employer brand in India.
The Verdict:
EarnIn might be a great place to work, but you have to survive a disrespectful, disorganized, and unprofessional Indian recruitment gauntlet to get there. Management needs to realize that their Bangalore recruiters are actively driving away top-tier talent through sheer incompetence.
