I was contacted by a recruiter about an open position, and was asked if I was available for a phone interview. The interview was fairly straight forward, and I moved onto the next round which was another phone interview. That interview went well, and I was asked to come to their office and meet with two people. I took time out of my work day for all of these interviews, and to write thank you notes to everyone. I followed up a week later to see if a decision had been made, and never heard back. It is completely disrespectful for companies to treat candidates this way, and I have let all of my connections know not to waste their time with this company.
