Of all the interviews I have done in my life, this was the most awkward! The HR person seemed as if she didn't want to do an interview or even sell the company as a great place to work. She assumed I didn't know anything about fitness even though I had worked in the industry for many years and basically made me feel like I wasn't a good fit without even getting to know me. It was so discouraging! I don't think it would be worth the commute if I was already being treated like that over an initial phone call.

The typical interview process begins with a Recruiter Screen to verify your basic qualifications and salary expectations. This is followed by a Hiring Manager Interview to assess your specific technical skills and relevant experience.
Next, you move to a Final Loop or "Onsite," which involves multiple interviews with potential teammates to evaluate culture fit and problem-solving abilities. Finally, if successful, you reach the Offer Stage, where the company conducts background checks and finalizes your compensation package.

Phone interview first with a recruiter. Then spoke with the manager of the facility and set up an interview. Was told that they would be calling candidates back for a second interview. I sent both the recruiter and the manager a thank you. Did not receive a reply back. A few days passed and I called the recruiter. No return phone call. I emailed manager at the facility with no reply. It's been three months and still nothing. I guess it's safe to say I didn't get the second interview. An email thanking me for the time invested would have made it an easier pill to swallow. I have a very bad taste left in my mouth from that process. I get it, they didn't feel I was the right fit. But please show some common courtesy!
