Spoke with several employees across the team. Thoughtful questions. A brief assignment was given (which I think is a GREAT idea - too often people are hired without having to demonstrate their work).

Entretien
Initial interview with Co Recruiter. From there, two Interviews 1:1 with two relevant Vice Presidents.
After that a panel-based Discovery call/Mock Pitch role play.
The premise for the discovery call /mock pitch was sent the night before the interview, allowing for
little to no prep time.
These meetings were scheduled in rapid progression on a single day.

Question 1
Mock Pitch/discovery call - this was positioned as a needs assessment to determine if the solution (your own in this case) was a fit for the client's requirements. To do this I used a BANT qualification process with the panel, asking them questions to determine best solution and suitability for a follow up call. At the end they told me that they expected a product pitch right up front, without any qualification.
In my many years of sales, this is a not the best approach for needs-based selling.
