The interviewer was late by 10 minutes, which did not leave a good first impression. The interview itself consisted of a series of LeetCode-style algorithmic questions, which seemed misaligned with the role I had applied for—a React.js position. While I understand the importance of problem-solving skills, the focus on algorithms felt excessive and irrelevant to the practical demands of a front-end developer role. Given the mismatch between the interview format and the role, as well as the lack of professionalism demonstrated by the late start, I decided not to proceed with the interview.
