This was by far the worst interview process I have ever experienced. No transparency. Process dragged on for weeks as they continued to interview and offered no feedback. Hiring manager was totally unprepared for interview after being on vacation for 3 weeks and rescheduling multiple times. Totally unacceptable and it was a turnoff to the company as a whole.

I had about 9 total interviews for an SE role. I made my shortcomings very apparent from the start and they kept pushing me through the process. After several interviews and spending about 50 hours preparing a demo and then the demo itself, I didn't have enough AppSec experience. But another team wanted to interview me for a less specialized SE role. Again, I made my shortcomings apparent. In this case I didn't have enough DevOps experience. I had used this tool in previous roles and knew it well. All in- I spent about 60 hours total between demo prep/demo/interviews and didn't get the job because of shortcomings I made clear up front. I have a lot of the other skills required, but I think they were culling looking for a unicorn candidate. I love the company & product, but don't think I'll apply for another job at Dynatrace.

It was rushed with two interviewers only given 30 mins. They wanted a unicorn candidate. Infrastructure expertise with Java experience. This person does not exist. They should have searched for a Java Programmer, but that person would NOT have the expertise in Infrastructure (Server, Storage, Network & virtualization)
